Our Story
It started with one classroom and one conviction
That a child in Gombi deserves an education as ambitious as a child anywhere.
Greater Future Academy opened its doors in 2009 in Gombi, Adamawa State. It began small — a nursery and early primary intake, a handful of teachers, and families who wanted more for their children than the nearest option allowed.
Growing with our families
As that first intake grew, the school grew with them — adding a full primary school, then a junior secondary, and finally a senior secondary programme that now prepares students for WAEC and NECO. Children who joined us in nursery can now stay through to their school-leaving certificate without ever changing schools.
What has not changed
The school is larger now, but the way it works is the same as it was in that first classroom: know the child, hold the standard, and treat the two as partners rather than rivals.
